How To Get Money For Christmas

Yes, it is true that there are only 74 days to go! It already sounds like so many less then 75. The power of numbers is amazing. I am feeling a little stressed about my budget. It was higher then I had expected it to be. With the Wall Street economic crisis I can think of so many more things to do with $1400. A near perfect Christmas is what I really want this year though.

Because the budget came in a little higher then I had expected I am going to have to come up with some creative ways to make money. I am still out of work because of my foot. I broke it at work in July. The pain is still worse then I would have thought. I work in retail so being out now is terrible. It means that I am missing the possibility of more hours this year. Do not worry though. I have a plan!

Ebay is my big plan. I have a lot of items that the baby no longer needs, fits in or uses. I am going to start by selling all of the clothing that do not fit the baby any longer. I figure that if I could bring in about $60 per week on Ebay.com it would make the other $70 a week much easier to come up with.

I have sold on Ebay many times before. It is a semi easy and quick to make money. If you are new to Ebay all you have to do is go to www.ebay.com and sign up as a new member. I would also advise that you sign up for a PayPal account also. I know that PayPal has had a lot of bad press but it really is easy. As long as you are extremely careful not to reply to emails from PayPal you should be safe. Just visit www.paypal.com and you should be on your way.

I find that children’s items sell quickly and well. Other things sell quick as well. First take a look around the house and see what you are willing to part with. From this point I type that item into the ebay search bar. This will give you an idea of how well the item sells. Sometimes it is not worth listing something that people are not bidding on.

From her you just go to the tab on the top right hand side which says sell. From this point ebay will walk you through the process. You do not need to add pictures but it certainly helps. Once your item has sold all you have to do is ship it and take in the profit. It is a great way to help you not only make your holiday budget but it is also a great way to get rid of some things before the holidays come.

Good luck and happy selling. Just a little tip. Stick to selling and do not shop just yet. The goal right now is to make money not to spend it!
