The Easter Bunny hides our baskets as well. I love the Easter Tradition of flying kites. I think that it sounds like a lot of fun. You must live somewhere that there is a lot of wind! I have wonderful memories as well although I have to admit that the looks on the girls faces are wonderful as well. Thank you so much for sharing!

Weather permitting we usually try to fly kites. It's been the thing that both my husband & I grew up doing so it's nice to pass that down to our children too. I always remember looking for the milk chocolate easter eggs, not the plastic ones, on Easter morning and the Easter bunny would hide our Easter baskets. I have wonderful memories of Easter as a kid and want my children to have those memories as well.

Our easter tradition is having the entire family around and painting the easter eggs and adding some ornaments to it. We also have those plastic eggs and put money in it and have the kids look for it. A worthwhile experience especially if the whole family is present.

Wow, I didn't know that the Easter Bunny originated in Germany. I'm not surprised though because there are lots of religious traditions in Germany. The Passion Play in Oberammergau has been going on since the 17th century and is performed once every 10 years.

My youngest is almost 2 also. May is the big 2 birthday. I think that she will have a blast this year also. I just cannot wait. I had never thought of using those hard boiled eggs for Easter breakfast.

we don't do anything really super special. We just do the usual colour eggs the night before thing but easter a.m. we get up have guess what.. hard boiled eggs and bacon for breakfast.. then we put on an easter egg hunt in the backyard. This year will be the first year our O (soon to be 2) will get to participate. He is going to be so excited.
